Winchester Model 12 pump action shotgun, 12 gauge with a fixed skeet choke barrel. "Y" prefix serial number indicates the gun was made in the late 1970s in New Haven. This Model 12 has a vent rib 26 inch barrel with front and mid bead sights. Beautiful wood, with checkered pistol grip and forearm. Jeweled bolt and carrier, White Line rubber buttpad.
This Model 12 is in fair. Bluing is 79%, with just minimal signs of use, wood is perfect. A previous owner added a gold grip cap with the initials "R.M." (see photo).
