A match accurate hunting bullet makes it easy to slip a killer blow between your quarry’s ribs. The Core-Lokt Tipped’s signature polymer tip nearly ignores air resistance, and its highly concentric jacket and rearward adjusted center of gravity both give it the balance it needs to home in on surprisingly distant targets with laserlike precision. The 130 grain bullet’s 0.447 G1 BC reflects its ability to shrug off wind deflection, fly flat as an arrow, and retain the minimum 1,500 ft lbs of kinetic energy recommended for elk hunting until it screams past the 398-yard line.
The Core-Lokt Tipped still has its predecessor’s copper jacket, which is mechanically locked to its lead core to promote superior weight retention. The bullet penetrates deeply, and it also expands reliably as its polymer tip drives inward to peel back the precision tapered jacket.
